How it is calculated in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia charges customs duty on the CIF value. The rate depends on the product and can be higher than the GCC base rate.

Import VAT is 15% on the customs value plus duty.

SABER certificates are required for most regulated products before clearance.
