No Risk Strategy
How we launch your project
We keep things simple and secure. We work on a two-step framework designed to protect your capital and guarantee identical or superior quality compared to your current local distributor.
PHASE 1
The Setup & Sample Phase
To get started, we charge a single flat onboarding fee of $750 CAD. This allows us to dedicate our team on the ground to map out your current product lines, negotiate rates, audit compliant factories, and ship physical samples directly to you for validation.
Flat Fee: $750 CAD
Technical specification mapping
CSA / UL compliance validation
Physical manufacturing samples shipped to you
PHASE 2
The Bulk Order & Delivery
Once you test the samples and tell us "The quality is perfect," we issue a single, all-inclusive flat quotation for your bulk volume. This is a fixed DDP rate that covers the manufacturing, the quality control team on-site, sea freight, and customs fees. No surprises.
Pricing: Fixed Turnkey Quote
No hidden fees or complex broker structures
On-site quality check before loading container
Delivered straight to your doorstep
Why It Makes Financial Sense
You're Probably Paying More Than You Should
When you buy through a trading agent or manage suppliers remotely, there are costs you can't see. Broker markups, defective goods, inflated freight, customs mistakes β these add up fast and eat into your margins.
Here's what we actually fix for you:
No More Broker Markups: We buy directly from the factory, so you see the real price.
Fewer Defects: We catch problems before the goods ship, not after they arrive.
Better Freight Rates: We negotiate shipping directly, not through the factory's freight agent.
No Customs Surprises: We prepare your paperwork correctly the first time.

Common Questions
Things People Ask Us
How do I know you're working for me and not the factory?+
We're paid by you, not by the factory. That's how we keep things honest. Our flat fees are agreed upfront, and our team is not allowed to accept anything from suppliers β so when we recommend a factory or flag a quality issue, it's always in your interest, not theirs.
What's CARM and why does it matter for my imports?+
CARM is Canada's new customs system that changed how importers register, file paperwork, and pay duties. If your documents aren't formatted correctly, your shipment can get held at the border β sometimes for days. We handle all of that paperwork so you don't have to worry about it.
Do I need a special contract to protect my product designs?+
If you have a proprietary product or design, a standard Canadian NDA doesn't protect you in Asia β it's not enforceable there. We can set up an NNN agreement (Non-Disclosure, Non-Use, Non-Circumvention) that's enforceable under local law, which actually gives you real protection if a factory tries to copy or sell your design.
What does a quality inspection actually involve?+
We check your goods at three points: when raw materials arrive at the factory, during production (around 20β50% complete), and again when everything is packed and ready to ship. We use internationally recognized AQL sampling standards and send you a written report with photos within 24 hours.

Supplier Sourcing
We Find & Vet Your Factory
Picking a factory based on an online profile or a trade show brochure is one of the biggest risks in importing. We physically visit factories to make sure they're real, capable, and honest before you send a single dollar their way.
Our team checks business licenses, inspects equipment, reviews certifications (ISO 9001, etc.), and assesses their ability to actually deliver what they're quoting.
Quality Checks
We Inspect Before It Ships
We don't wait until your container arrives in Vancouver to find out something went wrong. We're on the production floor during manufacturing to catch issues while they can still be fixed.
Before Production Starts
We check the raw materials and components before the factory starts making your order. We confirm they match the approved sample you signed off on.
During Production
When 20β50% of your order is complete, we go back to the factory and inspect the first finished pieces. If there's a systematic problem, this is when we catch it β before it affects the whole batch.
Final Check Before Shipping
Once everything is packed, we do a final statistical inspection of your order. We send you a full written report with photos within 24 hours. If it passes, it ships. If it doesn't, we deal with it.
Protecting Your Product
Your Designs Stay Yours
If you have a product with a custom design, mold, or branded packaging, it needs to be protected legally in Asia β not just with a Canadian NDA. A Canadian confidentiality agreement has no legal weight in China.
We set up NNN agreements (Non-Disclosure, Non-Use, Non-Circumvention) that are drafted under local law and actually enforceable if a supplier tries to copy or resell your product. We also manage your tooling and mold ownership to make sure your assets stay with you if you ever change suppliers.
Shipping & Customs
We Ship It & Clear It at the Border
Freight costs can make or break your margins. And a customs mistake can hold your shipment at the port for days β costing you money and customers. We handle both so you don't have to think about it.
Shipping Terms
Why We Never Let the Factory Book Your Freight
When a factory quotes you CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight), they're adding their own markup on shipping β typically 8β22% β and you can't see it. We always negotiate on FOB or FCA terms so we control the freight booking and you get the real rate.
FOB β Free On Board
Our Standard
Factory responsibility ends when goods are loaded at port. We take over from there and book directly with carriers at the best available rates on Asia-Canada routes.
FCA β Free Carrier
Best for Full Containers
Ideal for full container loads. Gives you full control over insurance and documentation, and unlocks better payment terms if you use letters of credit.
CIF β Avoid This
The Factory's Hidden Markup
The factory picks the carrier and adds their fee on top. You pay more and have no visibility. We never let our clients be quoted CIF.
How We Ship
Ocean, Air, or Rail β We Pick What Makes Sense
β
Ocean Freight
The standard choice for large volumes. We have direct contacts with major shipping lines from ports in China, and Vietnam to Vancouver and Montreal.
25β40 days to Canada
Full and partial container options
All-risk cargo insurance
βοΈ
Air Freight
When you need it fast β urgent orders, small high-value shipments, or product samples. We book through consolidated freight networks from Hong Kong.
3β7 days to Canada
Real-time tracking
Good for samples and test runs
π
Rail (China to Europe)
A cost-effective middle ground for shipments from China that need to connect through Europe. 35% faster than ocean and cheaper than air.
18β22 days China to Europe
Good route backup option
Canadian Customs
No Surprises at the Border
Canada's new CARM customs system changed the rules for importers. If your paperwork isn't right, your shipment can be held at the port β racking up storage fees while you wait. We prepare everything correctly before your container even leaves Asia.
We handle commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, HS code classification, and everything needed for a clean CBSA clearance. If you qualify for reduced duties under CPTPP (Canada-ASEAN trade agreement), we make sure you claim it.
Correct HS Codes: Proper product classification to avoid duty surprises.
CPTPP Certificates: We use trade agreements to lower your import duties where possible.
CFIA Compliance: If your product falls under food, health, or safety regulations, we prepare for that too.
Zero Demurrage Strategy: Proactive document submission so your goods clear without storage delays.

What We've Done for Canadian Businesses
Two examples of companies we've helped β what their situation was, what we did, and what they got out of it.
01
Case Study β Hardware Distributor, Ontario
They Were Paying a Broker They Didn't Know About
The Situation
An architectural hardware distributor in Ontario was importing 8 full containers per year from China through a trading agent in Shenzhen. They'd worked together for 4 years. Over that time, their margins had dropped from 38% to 21% β and they didn't know why.
What We Did
When we visited the factories in Guangdong, we discovered the agent had quietly inserted themselves between the client and 3 different factories β adding a 27% markup on every order without disclosing it. We then:
Found and visited 7 alternative factories in the same region
Negotiated directly with the best one, cutting out the middleman entirely
Set up legal agreements to protect the client's product designs
Switched shipping from CIF (factory-controlled) to FOB (our-controlled) terms
