Electrical products sold in Ontario must carry an accepted certification mark. We only shortlist suppliers who have it.
Register in CARM first
Since October 2024, importers must use the CBSA CARM portal to account for and pay duties. Set this up before your first shipment, or ask your customs broker to guide you.
Inspection before you pay
We or a third-party company check the goods at the factory, so problems are fixed before they travel to Toronto.

It depends on the supplier. Many provide samples at no charge, although the courier cost is usually paid by the buyer.
